I offer my profound congratulations to Joe Biden on becoming President of the United States of America. I am so pleased that he is giving high priority to the urgent issue of climate change. I pray for his success in meeting the challenges that lie ahead.
.@FoxNews hosts are claiming that Antifa was responsible for the terrorist attack on the Capitol. Here are some of their sponsors.
Replying to @chelseahandler: Let’s boycott companies who don’t stand up for democracy and truth. They don’t deserve our business. https://t.co/JarDo…
“There were so many people who had access to [Trump’s] ear who were telling him things, most of which were untrue, and then he began to listen to those voices and form a view that had no basis in fact.”

I don’t believe that. Trump knows what is happening. He knows he lost. He is just trying to steal power. Listen to the Woodward interview. He knows covid is a nightmare and admits he will lie to the country. Making him seem delusional is a lie. He is a criminal and a traitor.
Really sad. At a time of deep national division, President-elect Biden’s choice to call his political opponents literal Nazis does nothing to bring us together or promote healing.
This kind of vicious partisan rhetoric only tears our country apart.
Replying to @AOC: They wore Auschwitz shirts, erected gallows, and tried to hang the Vice President.

They wore Auschwitz shirts, erected gallows, and tried to hang the Vice President.
Your continued excusal and denial of Wednesday’s Neo-Nazi presence is abhorrent and dangerous.
The most healing and unifying thing *you* can do is take responsibility for your actions and resign.

Trump did NOT immediately send out the National Guard.
No initial presence. Clashes began ~1:20pm. The breach happened (roughly) around 2/2:30. Around 3:38pm, DC council tweeted their request for National Guard was DENIED.
When NG was approved, Trump wasn’t cited in decision.

Disastrous ruling by the Supreme Court. Unfortunately this is just the beginning... 💔 #amycovidbarrett
