Billy Lange says when St. Joe’s left Fort Myers after losses to Kansas and Auburn, he felt that the Hawks could be a top-four team in the A-10. He added that the exact team in Florida didn’t have one more practice together for the remainder of the season.
Nah man. I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen a team shoot the ball like this (with my own eyes) in an A-10 game. This is ridiculous. UMass is 15-24 from downtown.
UMass made the second most threes (15) in A-10 tournament history. Keep in mind, the last made three came with more than 19 minutes left in the 2nd half. They nearly broke a conference tournament record in little over a half of play. Never seen shooting like that.
I am transferring from La Salle Univeristy. Just wanted to thank my coaches and teammates for pushing me to be the best player that I can be everyday! I love La Salle and will always have a special place in my heart! THANK YOU LA SALLE #24out
Jared Kimbrough was a big part of La Salle’s defense. His quickness was a major reason why the Explorers could switch everything a lot of times. An energetic and athletic forward is seeking other opportunities.
Tip for St. Joe’s-UMass will be at about 1:15.
So many keys to watch
- Guarding Tre Mitchell (Anthony Longpre’s availability after leaving early yesterday)
- can Hawks keep Minutemen off the free throw line? (UMass No. 1 in A10 in FTs)
- How deep can Hawks go into bench?
